Concert for 4 double basses and one male voice inspired by text from John Cage "Overpopulation and Art"
Peter Jaquemyn / Olo Walicki / Wojtek Mazolewski / Sławek Janicki

Peter Jaquemyn easily moves about between visual arts and music. As a sculptor he works with an axe and a chainsaw. These actions are surely the reason why he is so strong and energetic on stage, while playing his double bass. His concerts are always spectacular, for playing he uses not only two or three bows, but also paper, plastic bottles or metal cans. Peter comes from Belgium, he is a musician and sculptor respected in the entire world of contemporary art..

Wojtek Mazolewski is a composer and younger generation bass player from Tricity. Before he began playing improvised music he played punk rock. He also composed for the band Oczi Cziorne. After the yass revolt Mazolewski founded Pink Freud. With this band he recorded four studio albums and two live albums. "Grzybobranie", released in 2008, is Wojtek's solo album signed with his name. Mazolewski's newest project is 'Smells Like Tape Spirit' recorded as quintet.
